Office Administrator

Branford, CT

We are seeking an HR Office Administrator to become an integral part of our team! This role will work closely with the human resources staff to ensure the team has what they need to be as productive with as little disruption as possible. The person in this role will manage our front desk and greet new hires and visitors.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced work environment. 

 

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:  

  • Coordinate onsite meals and assist with ordering and restocking of drinks, office supplies and other items. 
  • Coordinate all company events in the Connecticut office. 
  • Maintain office and kitchen equipment and supplies at both CT locations. 
  • Help organize and maintain common areas as well as kitchen equipment and supplies. 
  • Maintain company organizational chart. 
  • Maintain HR SharePoint documents. 
  • Distribute mail to in office and remote employees. 
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and offboarding logistics. 
  • Support with scheduling interviews for candidates. 
  • Participate in Culture champion team meetings and support with culture initiatives. 
  • Manage employee visits from other locations- seating and lunch coordination. 
  • Facilities onsite support. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Qualifications 

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes: 

  • High school diploma with 2-3 years of previous office experience. Previous experience working under HR group preferred. 
  • Ability to lift at least 25lbs. 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and anticipate needs of the team. 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills. 
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor. 
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision. 
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Excellent time management and self discipline. 

 

The estimated base salary range for this role based in the United States of America is: $50,000 - $55,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, level of the position, an individual’s skills, knowledge and abilities, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all full-time employees are eligible for our discretionary bonus program and equity as part of the compensation package.
