Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated Research Associate/Senior Research Associate (RA/SRA) to join the Product Development team. The RA/SRA will work under the direction of a lead scientist to conduct experiments, verify reagent kit components, assist in writing SOPs and generating documents for manufacturing transfer. The RA/SRA is expected to execute experiments efficiently, with high reproducibility, analyze data, and generate reports as required for the QMS. The position requires proficiency in basic lab techniques such as determining molarity and concentration, using a pipette, operating a pH meter, formulating buffers, proper handling biomolecules such as proteins and DNA, and compliant with GLP.

 

Qualifications

  • Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:
  • Bachelor or Master’s in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or related fields
  • 2-5 years laboratory experience in an academic or industry environment
  • Hands-on experience in buffer formulation and protein characterization using various analytical techniques, including Nanodrop, SDS-PAGE, nanoDFS, Octet, Luminex, MSD, and plate-based assays
  • Hands-on experience with protein purification (HPLC, FPLC, SEC, IEX, IMAC, etc.) using the AKTA and Agilent HPLC/LC-MS is a huge plus
  • Experience writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions
  • Demonstrate ability to follow instructions, pay attention to details, be data-driven, and think strategically to troubleshoot and solve problems
